I examine psychomotor development of children and provide subsequent therapy. I often apply Vojta's Reflex Locomotion with babies up to 10-12 month if necessary. Technique based on stimulating reflexes to encourage normal movement patterns, often used in neurodevelopmental therapy.
Currently, I work with pediatric patients at the Prosek Polyclinic. I have experience with very complex diagnoses and severe mobility issues. I have long worked in the field of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and acute inpatient rehabilitation. In the ENT field, I specialize in diagnosing and treating balance disorders, dizziness, swallowing disorders, facial lymphedema therapy, and peripheral cranial nerve impairments (such as facial nerve paralysis). From my extensive experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation, I have dealt with acute or chronic back pain, cervical and lumbar spine issues. Additionally, I work with orthopedic patients, including those post-knee arthroscopy, ligament reconstructions of the knee, fractures of the lower and upper extremities, and post-total hip and knee joint replacements. In the surgical domain, I work with clients post-breast tumor removal and subsequent complications such as pain, swelling, or limited range of motion. I also work with neurological patients diagnosed with stroke, multiple sclerosis, and myopathies.
